Gaël Duval is a software engineer and entrepreneur. He created the first desktop-based Linux distribution in 1998, Mandrake Linux (based on KDE), and more recently launched /e/OS, a fully deGoogled mobile operating system for the masses.
Started in 2018, the /e/OS project aims at providing a comprehensive and mobile ecosystem to a large audience. Built on the top of Android Open Source Project, fully deGoogled, it offers innovative features to control third-party applicaitons data leaks, and also a full cloud solution based on NextCloud.
